We’re so thankful for your prayers. Nolan is doing great. He is a party-animal, so the hard part has been keeping him flat on his back–and continuing to do so for the next two weeks.

But, we are grateful to have this problem–it means his legs and back are working, and he is feeling himself! Praise God!

We are still at Lurie Children’s in Chicago, enjoying the view of Lake Michigan and the fabulous nurses and doctors here.

I’ll get back to posting later this week…my fellow-Redbudder wrote a great article about Pinterest, can’t wait to share it!

Nolan is living shamelessly–like a Champ! Thanks for your support and prayers!

Water does not resist.
Water flows.
When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress.
Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you.
But water always goes where it wants to go,
and nothing in the end can stand against it.
Water is patient.
Dripping water wears away a stone.
Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water.
If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it.
Water does.
